Singer, songwriter and musician Waylon Jennings performs at the initial ChicagoFest on August 7, 1978. He was a pioneer of the outlaw movement in country music. For awhile he was part of The Highwaymen group. He suffered from cocaine addiction for several years before kicking it. Jennings died on February 13, 2002 in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 64.
