Tipuana, tipuana tree, tiputree, tipu tree, tipa blanca, yellow jacaranda, pride of bolivia, race-horse tree, racehorse tree, rose wood, rosewood, brazilian rosewood or palo mortero - Tipuana tipu is the only member of the genus Tipuana. It was recently assigned to the informal monophyletic Pterocarpus clade within the Dalbergieae.
