An unusual north facing bay on the mid North coast east of Kempsey. A sheltered beach which has lifeguards on weekends and holiday periods as sometimes there are rips near the rocks which if caught in them can carry people out to sea. There is a Caravan Park at the North end where a lot of campers come in winter to escape their colder climates in South Australia and Victoria. The town of Sth. West Rocks is opposite the park and beach and there is a kiosk and toilets at Sth. end of it.
