Argentinians are fond of meat, are meat eaters par excellence. These are people, piqueteros, of a workers` movement, who have been protesting for ages by blocking streets, roadblocks. They have received the meat from a meat factory in exchange for passing their trucks. Around the table are other protesting men and women watching how the feast is prepared. The protests are meant to meet the workers demands on the government, namely work, dignity and social change. |
