St. Helen's Place Conservation Area is a small, tightlydefined area on the east side of Bishopsgate, in closeproximity to the Bank Conservation Area and the heartof the City. Sir Norman Fosterâs landmark Gherkin building towers over the eastern side of St Helenâs Place, now being rapidly surrounded by even taller buildings.
