| Karthika Deepam is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated mainly in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala. It usually falls in the month of Karthika (NovemberâDecember). The festival is known as the Festival of Lights, where devotees light rows of oil lamps (deepams) in homes, temples, and streets to honor Lord Shiva and seek blessings for prosperity, health, and happiness.
