FairHavenStatePark tree color is vibrant in October. Starts in September, ends in November. The stone and gravel work done at Fair Haven State Park was primarily carried out by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the early 1930s. This project was part of the park's construction and development, which also involved the work of German POWs during World War II.
