Acanthus mollis, or bear's breeches, has traditional medicinal uses, including as a diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and for treating digestive urinary tract issues, wounds and burns, headaches, and joint dislocations. It also has cultural significance, with its leaves inspiring the Corinthian column in architecture. However, it is considered an invasive plant in many regions and has no known culinary uses.
