The Battle of Didgori was fought between the Georgia and Seljuk armies at the place of Didgori 40 kilometers west of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, on August 12, 1121 during the King David the Builder. Known in the Georgian history as the Miraculous Victory, it is generally considered as the greatest military victory of Georgian arms.
