| Scott Rudin, American film, television, and theater producer is joined in the press room near the Beacon Theatre in New York City by a Tony Statuette, one of 17 he has collected for his legendary Broadway shows, including this one on June 12, 2011, at the 65th Annual Tony Awards for the spectacular hit musical, `The Book of Mormon.` Rudin is among the few members of the EGOT club since he possesses an Emmy win, an Oscar, a Grammy, in addition to his boatload of Tonys. Rudin is also a controversial figure, also known for his explosive temper and controlling behavior which have provoked intense outrage and led him to take a pause, in April, 2021, from his numerous entertainment industry projects to mend his ways. |
