| Stained glass window from 1933, is by Veronica Whall. It portrays St Edith and child. The memorial is to Edith Octavia Jennings, of Amberley House almost opposite the church of St Michael`s in Amberley, Sussex, who died in Florence in 1931. St Edith was a nun and princess who died in c984 at the age of 23. Stained glass artist Whall was also an accomplished designer and water color artist. |
