| Even old-school Hippie businesses know, in order to attract new customers require advertising. When the Piedmont opened in the Castro in 1972, it was primarily a consignment shop. When they moved to the Height and the business kept evolving, it became more of a fun store. A giant pair of well shaped legs in fishnet stocking and red hi-heal shoes was better then any sign ever could have been. |
