| The herring market or herring fair is an annual event held in Helsinki, Finland, in October. During the herring market, many fisherman from the coastal towns and villages arrive in the Southern harbour to sell fish and other products directly from their boats or in little stalls on the market place. Sold in this stall: sea-buckthorns juice, pickled garlic, mustard and fish preserves. |
