Aerial view of a waterfall cascading down a lush, green cliff in Guizhou, China, surrounded by thick mist. The water flows into a river meandering through a deep, narrow canyon bordered by dense vegetation. The mist creates a mystical atmosphere, partially obscuring the landscape. The contrast between the white waterfall and the green foliage enhances the natural beauty of the scene, highlighting the diverse topography typical of the Guizhou region. This is the Xia Gua Waterfall, also locally known as the Sanzitian Waterfall, located in Puli Township, Guanling County. It is the last tier of the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group. The waterfall stands over 160 meters high the cascading water splashes against the rocks in the mountain wilderness, sending up waves that shoot into the air, forming a secondary waterfall that then rushes down along the rock folds into the Beipan River.
