| One of the small structures of the Palace development. It was built in 1776-1779 by the court architect Vasily Bazhenov. Bazhenov himself in the drawings calls it `the third house` or `small house` compared to the first two buildings. The phrase `cavalry corps` is modern: it has only been used since 1947. |
