Reliquary of the St Adalbert of Prague, this saint, known to Poland as wojciech, is the patron of both Poland and the Czech Republic. Adalbert was in fact quite a conflict man, so the rulers consciously sent him on a mission from which he could not return.Gniezno the 1st capital of Poland although we won't find many monuments from this period, but it is a symbol of the country. The most valuable monument is the cathedral, which is also today the seat of the primate of the country - the head of the Catholic church for the country. The most precious treasure in the cathedral is the door and reliquary of St. Adalbert from Prague
