Taraxacum officianale Asteraceae. A Dandelion by any other name is an enchanting flower; some call it a weed. Invasive and difficult to remove. It`s one of the first flowers for bees in Springtime. Dandelions can be eaten and studies have shown that they are rich in vitamin B,C, and D as well as iron, manganese, magnesium, zinc, and phosphorus. The Dandelion is composed of many different flowers; 100-300 bright yellow, separate flowers that form together to make the illusion of one single flower. This flower has turned to seed and is full of wishes! These seeds will fly off and each will become a new plant.
