| Monreal is a medieval village in the Eifel. The historic village was elected as the most beautiful village in Germany several times. Many half-timbered houses and two castle ruins made Monreal the place for shooting movies. The Elz is the small river running through the village, sometimes not so small like in snow melting season during April. |
