| A Red Lion Fish hunts over the coral reef and bright orange fire coral protected by its long venomous spines. Graceful and beautiful, this fish can move at astonishing speed to catch its prey. This species is not natural to the Caribbean and as an invasive species has no natural predator itself so is spreading quickly. Taken early morning on a shallow sunny dive in the Caribbean. |
