Set in the wilderness area of Knoydart, in the Scottish highlands is Loch Quoich, seen here in early spring. This is true wilderness area, and is reached only by a 22 mile long, single track road that leads on to Kinloch Hourn, a tiny village. Red deer are very prevalent round this loch, which is used as a reservoir for the Scottish hydro-electricity scheme.
