| This is a statue dedicated to Pope John Paul II, who visited Sarajevo immediately after the end of the bloody war in Bosnia. It is located in front of the Catholic Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, while on top of the adjacent building are sculptures of angels as if watching over it. |
