| Suehiro Shrine, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, JapanThis shrine was established as an Inari shrine before 1596. It was worshiped as the guardian deity of Yoshiwara (Yoshiwara), which was located here. During the restoration of the shrine in 1670, a Nakahira (suehiro fan) was found, and the shrine was named Suehiro Shrine. It was also deeply revered by the samurai who served the shogunate, and the fire brigade chief under its command provided protection and service in festivals. |
