Injera is the most usual food in Ethiopia. It is like a crêpe made of teff´s flour, which is a kind of grain grown in Ethiopia. It is gluten free. It has a spongy texture. On the base of injera various types of food are placed: meat, vegetables, cheese ... It is eaten by hand picking up a piece of the base and some of the food that is placed on top.
