This is a Spring picture of the Stillwater Bridge over the St. Croix River located in Stillwater, Minnesota in Washington from County. The bridge was designed by the architects of Ash, Howar, Needles, and Tammen of the Minnesota Department of Highways, it is an example of a Vertical-Lift Bridge, it spans 1,050 feet across the St. Croix River,it was built in 1931. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 25, 1989. This picture was taken on May 7, 2017.
