This is an early Spring picture of a piece of public art titled: Groundbreaker, on display at the Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park located in Skokie, Illinois in Cook County. This piece was created by Ted Gall, it is the first and largest of his Fel-Pro sculpture in the park. This giant sheet Cotten steel “ gasket” seemingly half buried in the ground, the peg shaped elements along the side represent the pieces removed from the holes of the main sculpture. This picture was taken on April 7, 2018.
