| De Lichte Gaard is the short street in the Dutch city of Utrecht. With a total length of around 40 meters, it is located in the city center. The streets date from the Middle Ages and owe their name to the orchard of the Utrecht bishop who used to lie here. De Lichte Gaard has a single building on the Oudegracht with wharf cellars and a yard. De Donkere Gaard, on the other hand, has buildings on both sides because over time the houses have built over the yard. |
