This is a Winter picture of he firespitting Kaskaskia Dragon on display in Vandalia, Illinois in Fayetteville County. This forty foot long, 30 foot tall, sheet metal piece of public art was designed by Daven Barfenger, it was built in 1995 to participate in local Halloween Parades. It became a permanent Vandalia tourist attraction in 2001. This picture was taken on March 3, 2018.
