Heroes Mausoleum Pravăt Valea Mare, Arges county, known as the Mausoleum of Matthias, is a monument dedicated to the heroes of the War of National Full of 1916-1918. It is located on the European road E574 (DN 73), 11 km from Campulung to Brasov, Matthias Hill. Here in the Matias Namaiesti group - led by General Traian Găiseanu - with members 10:12 p.m. Infantry Divisions managed to resist a superior enemy better equipped and trained, 25 September / 8 November octombrie-10/23 1916. By fighting went here was stopped the Central Powers on the Romanian Plain, but because of breakthrough front Jiu soldiers of two divisions were ordered to retreat - undefeated - on November 16/29, 1916, to Targoviste
