Spring view of park with the Thurzo castle (Turzov palác), also called Bytca Castle (Bytčiansky zámok), castle built firstly as a water fortification during the 13th century. This castle is authentic location where trial with world famous Countess Elizabeth Bathory (Báthory Erzsébet, Alžbeta Bátoriová) took place in the 7th January 1611. This castle now houses an regional state archive. Castle of Bytca is located in Bytca town, Zilina region, Slovakia.
