| Diablos de Naiguatá, is a cultural expression that manifests itself through traditional dance in popular religiosity. It takes place in the east of the state of La Guaira central coastal region of Venezuela, in the town of Naiguatá, its main activity takes place on Corpus Christi Thursday. It is part of the traditional festivities, which are mostly held in honor of a saint or date of religious importance, in this case as a devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. Legacy of the first inhabitants of that region, other celebrations, like this one, are the product of racial and cultural miscegenation |
