| Vido Greek: Ãâïôÿ [VÃÂdo] is an island near the city of Corfu, known from the First World War, when there was a hospital for Serbian soldiers who came to Corfu after crossing Albania. A large number of Serbian warriors were buried in the sea near the island, in the `Blue Tomb`. During the `30s of the 20th century, the construction of a mausoleum on the island was completed, in which the names of those who died there were written, and whose names were known. |
