| Tesna Valley is a protected area of national interest, a natural reservation of geological, floristic, faunal and landscape type located in MehedinÃâºi County, included in the Domogled National Park - Valea Cernei. The protected area represents an area of gorges dug in Jurassic limestone by the waters of the Tesna river, rocky cliffs, rubble, caves, sinkholes, limestone pavement and valleys, with flora and fauna specific to the Mehedinti Mountains.
