Gropparello is a remarkable medieval castle lying in a secular park and located on top of an extraordinary ravine. It dates back to the 9th century and it was donated by Charlemagne to Piacenza`s bishop Giuliano in 808. Every castle has its ghost and Gropparello too: the young Rosania murdered by her husband.
