| This solar thermal power plant, located near La Pedrosa in Spain along the Ruta de Los Pueblos Blancos, features rows of parabolic trough collectors. These mirrored troughs concentrate sunlight onto a receiver tube at the focal line, heating a fluid that is then used to generate electricity. This type of solar farm is a form of concentrated solar power - CSP -, a technology used to harness solar energy on a large scale. |
