The Australian Terr Fern (Dicksonia antarctica) also known as Solt tree fern, Woolly tree fern, Man Fern and Tasmanian Tree Fern is a perennial Fern native to Australia. It has a distinct eret rhizome that forms its trunk and it prefers wet soils with partial shade. The species is said to predate the dinosaurs.
