| Boats in the Oosterdok Water in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam seen from the Museum Nemo. Over the Kikkerbilsluis, a lock and bridge in the Prins Hendrikkade the Oude Schans Canal with the Montelbaenstower on the right, originally built in 1516 for the purpose of defending the city. Right of this tower the tower of the Zuiderkerk, one of the earliest churches in Amsterdam to be built in the Renaissance style and the first in the city to be built for the Dutch Reformed Church. |
