Sarue Inari Shrine, a shrine located in Sarue, Koto Ward, Tokyo, Japan, is an Inari shrine managed by Honkakuzan Myojuji Temple. In the late Heian period, during the Oshu expedition by Minamoto no Yoriyoshi and his son Yoshiie (Hachiman Taro Yoshiie), the remains of samurai wearing armor were washed up on the beach in this area. This gave off a light every night, so I built a grave. Inari Shrine is where a statue of the god was made from the sacred tree that stood next to it, and it was enshrined there.
