Rhododendron beyerinckianum is a species of rhododendron endemic to New Guinea. This plant is found on the western islands of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, stretching as far east as Mount Victoria and Mount Dayman, where it grows at an altitude of 1400–4000 meters. It is a shrub that reaches 5 m in height, with narrow ovate leathery leaves, measuring 6 x 3.5 cm. The flowers are tubular funnel-shaped and usually dark red, but also white, yellow, greenish or pink.
