The Kepudang-sungu (Orioles) to the family Campephagidae and are small to medium-sized passerine birds found in subtropical and tropical Africa, Asia, and Australasia. The majority are forest birds. Some species are restricted to primary forest, such as the New Caledonian Orioles, others can utilize more disturbed forest. About eleven species use more open habitats one Australian species, the Ground Orioles, is found in open plains and scrub with few trees.
