| The Nordenskiöld Glacier is called Nordenskiöldbreen in Norwegian. It is named after the Finnish geologist Adolf Erik Nordenskiöld (1832â1901) The glacier flows roughly southwestwards and is 25 km (16 miles) long and 11 km (6.8 miles) wide. It has its terminus in Billefjorden. HERE The glacier is photographed from a ship. |
